“I am very happy with my Bug Guard service.  It has taken care of the bug problems inside my home.”     Mrs. Gary Kerkstra – Jenison Services          Bug Guard Our Bug Guard Program helps keep your house insect-free by treating all the outside areas surrounding your house - such as around the foundation, under decks, around windowsills and doorjambs. Acting as a line of defense, this highly effective service controls everything from earwigs and roaches to crickets and spiders. Perhaps the best aspect of Bug Guard is peace of mind. You can rest easy knowing your property is safe from insect invasion. The Bug Guard program consists of 5 applications.  These applications start in April and are spaced 4-6 weeks apart.  Bug Guard is effective against virtually all insects including  ants, spiders, earwigs, box elder bugs, hornets and wasps.  As an added value, your technician will also brush spider webs from the eaves and remove any wasp or hornet nests.  The only exception would be for homes that are over 2 stories and would require the use of a ladder.  In those situations, our technicians would not be able to deal with nests or spider webs beyond their reach. Cost:  $39 per application for homes 2500 square ft or under.  For those homes over 2500 square ft, please call our office or Request an Estimate so that we may provide the correct price. Mosquito Control Our approach to mosquito control is an integrated pest management program, incorporating the best possible tools and strategies to provide a systematic approach. Steps to this process include surveying, breeding source reduction, environmental modification of breeding habitats, biological control, and direct contact treatment of resting and hunting mosquitoes.  Using specialized equipment, your technician will spray all appropriate mosquito habitats and hiding areas.  These include surrounding woods, landscape plants, bushes, etc.  Two applications are applied approximately 3 weeks apart.  They will kill existing mosquitoes and keep new ones from residing in treated areas. If you are having an outdoor party or get together and would like to control mosquitoes, please plan ahead and schedule your treatment.  We would want to have the 2nd application to occur at least 3-4 days before your guests would arrive.
